Imaginative and well researched scripts, beautiful puppets and lots of audience participation are mixed with gifted performers, unique staging and a professional attitude to create the recipe for success for Barefoot Puppet Theatre. Barefoot Puppet Theatre will be presenting Trickster Tales, starring Anansi the spider, Elephant, Hippo, Namimbi the Python, Oseba the Leopard, a swarm of angry hornets and an even angrier Sky God. Colorful scenery, original music and lots of puns create a wonderful backdrop for the antics of these expressive rod and hand puppets. It’s a high energy show for all ages!

Brad Swanson and David McCormick have been collaborating since 1997. Brad and David’s performance of Swing Guitars at the Shenandoah Conservatory Graduate Honors Recital was received with a rousing standing ovation. As a duo , they create a unique sound designed for the concert stage and influenced by the great jazz violinist Stephane Grappelli and the great vocalists of the 20th century.
Steve Brogan is a career "Comic Ventriloquist" and a major success in his profession. A versatile entertainer, Steve has the unique ability to script his shows to include audience participation. Steve and his "friends" perform nationwide. He has received national awards for his work in ventriloquism and has appeared on Good Morning America and The Fox Network to name a few. " I feel very fortunate to be able to make people laugh for a living" says Steve.
